The project proposes the adaptive reuse of the historic, abandoned Eden Cinema building in Neve Tzedek, merging its cultural past with contemporary needs for sustainable urban agriculture. Within the existing space, an advanced vertical farming system is introduced, designed to use minimal energy and space, employ existing building materials, and enable rapid construction. The intervention, built on scaffolding, preserves the building’s original character while integrating both its historical and new programs. It remains mobile, allowing it to be dismantled, relocated, and reassembled elsewhere, continuing the concept and activity in the future and at any location as a form of temporary architecture.
