The project is situated near the fishing harbor and Kishon Park in Haifa, proposing the establishment of a maritime cultural center that will serve as a key anchor for the development of the city’s waterfront in the Kishon area and enhance its accessibility to residents. The center will include, among other facilities, the home of the Haifa Rowing Club and serve as a visitors’ center for the Kishon River Authority, to strengthen the connection between the community, the sea, and the natural environment. The design emphasizes preserving the river’s natural surroundings and creating strong connections between all components of the environment.
